Finding Nora’s First Beijing Public Performance "Finding Nora," a unique modern dance drama performed in late 2006 at the Beijing International Modern Dance Festival, proved a big hit. The play was adapted from playwright Henrik Ibsen’s "A Doll’s House," and was significant in that it memorialized Ibsen - known as the "founder of the modern prose drama" - and helped create a new art style. Last year marked the 100th anniversary of Ibsen’s death. Norway selected China to host the first public performance of "Finding Nora".
